I write "hot" after an endless wedding dinner on November 28, 2022.

I start from my menu and then move on to everything else.

I don't know if my menu had been established together with the bride and groom, because they only told me: "there are no problems." I think I wasn't the only veg in the room and, among other things, by now the chefs who make vegan haute cuisine - as befits a place like this - are very prepared. Two first courses: fusilli with cherry tomatoes on top of an unidentified green cream. Excluding the cream, which is not understood what has to do with pasta with cherry tomatoes, pasta with cherry tomatoes is a dish that is commonly eaten at home. I pass it to my father, sure he wouldn't have liked the first one we read on the menu.

Wait...

They bring another first course. Paccheri with cauliflower cream, it looked like mushrooms, but also cauliflower.

Starving, I eat it. Good, for heaven's sake, but nothing you couldn't cook at home.

Pass the groom from the table. I make a bet: "Do you want to see that they will bring grilled aubergines over a cream or purée and over the red cabbage of the other dishes? After an hour: from 15.30 to 16.30 (I know the time because I sent photos in a chat), during the which all the guests were racked with fatigue, the seconds arrive and also guess what?You guessed it!The famous vegetables mentioned above.An hour of waiting is hallucinating for any organization.

Does not exist. You can't keep people waiting for an hour to hang around the salon.

A lunch that becomes a snack.

I knew they promised dessert.

I appreciate the effort because in no Sicilian wedding they had brought dessert. It was a white eat with berries. It had absolutely no flavor, but I really appreciate the effort.

Let's move on to the other dishes. Comments from my parents: "too full of sauces to cover the taste of the fish. Too much stuff and too much waste. And here I think we can put a pitiful point.

Sorry for the waste, so much. It's not right. Lots and lots of stuff left on the plates practically intact.
