La Calla Events made our dreams come true!

My husband and i had travelled to Minori together on our first holiday & returned year after year - so when John proposed on the pier we knew there was only one place we wanted to say our i-do's.

We were introduced to Marianna & Laura of La Calla events by our friendly host Vincenzo at Amalfi Vacations & from there on everything was smooth sailing.

We had a wish list of things we would like for our wedding; a ceremony on the pier, prosecco tower at our favourite Sal De Riso, Open top sightseeing buses to Ravello & a reception at Villa Eva which we had stumbled across years before on our second visit to the amalfi coast. We hoped a few of these things would be possible but didn't expect them all.

Marianna & Laura not only made every one of our wishes come true, but more beautiful than we could imagine.The pier looked absolutely stunning, with drapes and a flower arch. They made helpful suggestions, like adding live music for the ceremony but still had total respect of our budget throughout; John and i said the whole way through the planning process that it felt like the girls were on our side and never tried to get us to spend more than we needed to achieve our ideas.

On the day there were no worries or stress and the lovely ladies were on hand in both locations to make sure everything was going smoothly - it felt like having family there. The day was beyond perfect and everything went so smoothly i was able to enjoy every second with no worries whatsover.

Marianna and Laura feel like friends when they plan your wedding but their professionalism cannot be undervalued. They are quick to reply to questions and clear with their answers. They also helped beyond the wedding, organising a surprise boat trip and dinner for John on his birthday when we arrived in Italy and a pizza party with 60+ of our weddding guests for the night before the wedding. The pizza party in particular, was a worry for me. I was concerened that when it came time to split the bill that there would be complications with so many guests and all of which drinking different amounts. I need not have worried - Marianna was there when we arrived and explained my concerns to the staff whow were able to divide the bills per table and when it came to pay everything went smoothly.

There is nothing these ladies cannot do & they do it so well, with such warmth.

Thank you La Calla, you're without a doubt the best wedding planners in the world. We will back to renew our vows in 20 years, just so we can do it all again.
