I had the unfortunate experience of working with Céline this past year on my wedding in Bordeaux France. As an American living in Bordeaux, I wanted to work with someone from the area who could help me plan and organize our wedding. From beginning to end my family and I were let down by the performance of this company. Hidden fees, commissions, on top of a 11 percent total fee were taken from us. This fee did not match the work and organization provided to us. It was clear the management team was ill equipped to work on the wedding we wanted. There was a clear language barrier and as most of our conversations were only held through email it made the planning process very tough to say the least. We were led to believe label emotion was a team of two people who were based in Bordeaux. This was not the case, as Céline was our only contact and located almost 3 hours away in Pau. If you are a foreigner looking for help in planning your dream wedding in the Bordeaux area, I can only hope this message helps you to ask more questions before working with this person, and not make the same mistake we did. The abilities of this event planner do not match what are advertised through there website.
