I cannot recommend Château Gassies highly enough, it is the most beautiful and pristine château with amazing facilities and gardens. My husband and I were married there in July and hosted a series of events during the week, with friends and family staying in the suite and gîte accommodation.

Geraldine and her team were extremely attentive, so absolutely everything was taken care of - with the château team working seamlessly with our chosen wedding suppliers. Geraldine helped us plan the perfect wedding day, with our ceremony, drinks receptions and meals held in different parts of the château, creating variety and a really special atmosphere. The team are highly experienced with events and weddings and have excellent taste, so we were really grateful for their support.

Too many to mention but some particular strengths:
- the château is really close to Bordeaux but is also peaceful, surrounded by beautiful French countryside
- all of the bedrooms are super spacious, beautifully decorated and the air con and sound insulation was excellent, so everyone slept really well.
- the pools are really well maintained, and the climbing frame and trampoline kept our younger members of the family well entertained, plus there's lots of space for them to run around
- the gîtes have lovely terrace areas for socialising
- the spa is fantastic - recommend booking a massage!
- the grounds are so lovely, full of scented lavender, and the SUNSET - a must see, we gathered everyone to watch it each evening.

So many lovely memories! We love visiting this area of France so will definitely be looking to stay again when we visit next!
