Zankyou was created in 2007 following the wedding of one of its founders.

We created Zankyou after having seen through our own experiences that there was no wedding list and wedding webpage service that adapted to the needs of our generation; we get married later, we've often lived together already and we frequently have guests coming from abroad.

Today, Zankyou offers its services in a range of European countries, Mexico and the USA in six different languages (German, French, English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish).

In terms of numbers, in 2008-9, more than 10,000 couples created their wedding webpage through Zankyou, more than 15,000 gifts were given via Zankyou gift lists and every month more than 400,000 users use the web, with an average of 2 million page visits per month.

Zankyou was selected as one of the top 20 websites worldwide (and the number 1 in Europe) for event organizing by the US web 2.0 specialist Feedmyapp.

Zankyou works with "La Caixa" savings bank - Europe's biggest in terms of assets and client numbers - for the management of the wedding lists.

Our business model

The Zankyou revenue model is based mainly on advertising, in particular selling spaces in the Magazine Zankyou, an online magazine providing useful information for couples on how to organize their wedding.

Adverts will never be intrusive and will never appear on our clients' wedding webpages. Zankyou will never use our clients' email address as an advertising support.

Our objective is to help our clients organize their wedding with relevant and non-intrusive ads.
