About us

We created Zankyou after having seen through our own experiences that there was no wedding registry and wedding webpage service that was adapted to the needs of our generation; couples are global now. We've often lived together and therefore don't need a house full of stuff, and we frequently have guests coming to our weddings from around the world.

Today, Zankyou offers its services in a range of European countries, Mexico and the USA in six different languages (German, French, English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish).

In terms of numbers, in 2008-9, more than 10,000 couples created their wedding webpage through Zankyou, more than 15,000 gifts were given via Zankyou gift lists and every month more than 750.000 users use the web, with an average of 3 million page visits per month.

Zankyou was selected as one of the top 5 websites worldwide for event organizing by U.S. web 2.0 specialist Feedmyapp.

Our business model

The Zankyou revenue model is based mainly on advertising, in particular selling spaces in Zk Magazine, an online magazine with more than 30 million page views per year, and presence in our online gift registry catalogue.

Adverts will never appear on our clients' wedding webpages. Our objective is to help our clients organize their wedding with relevant and non-intrusive ads.
