We created Zankyou after having seen through our own experiences that there was no wedding registry and wedding website service designed for today's couple. Couples are increasingly global and living together already so they don't need a house full of stuff. Furthermore, their wedding guests come from around the world with lifestyles that are increasingly driven by online options.
Today, Zankyou offers services in the US, Mexico and several other countries in Latin America and Europe in eight different languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Polish and Dutch) and multiple currencies.
To date, more than 100,000 couples have created their wedding website through Zankyou, more than 500,000 gifts have been given via Zankyou wedding registries and every month more than 3 M users use the website, with an average of 14 million page visits per month. Our robust registry service is supported by recognized global organizations such as Citibank and gift payments are secured with Thawte® (Verisign).

Co-founder. Guillermo realized that there was a lot to do in the wedding industry after he organized his own wedding. He is responsible for sales and marketing. Guillermo has a Master's of Science in mining engineering from the UPM (Madrid) and a Master's in Management from HEC Paris, as well as more than 10 years' experience as VP Sales at Boursorama Banque (France's biggest online bank), Branch Network Director at CaixaBank France and as a consultant at Diamondcluster (today known as Oliver Wyman).
Co-founder. Javier is in charge of Finance and Operations at Zankyou. He is in daily contact with our technical and commercial partners to ensure that the website is working properly and constantly evolving. He worked for over 10 years as a consultant for Arthur Andersen and Diamondcluster (today known as Oliver Wyman). Javier holds a Master's in Telecommunications Engineering and attended INSEAD where he did his MBA.
Isabel is responsible for the web content and Zankyou's online wedding registry and overall the German market. Born in Lübeck, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, she has developed her professional career in the Marketing sector at Dräger Medical and the Corporate Human Resources at L'Oreal. Isabel is open, entrepreneurial and has extensive international experience as well as being positive, and assuring that our customers have the perfect wedding experience with Zankyou.
Monica has worked in a variety of different positions for Spanish television. Since October 2011 she has been dedicated not only to making 'Zankyou Magazine' the most widely read online wedding magazine in the world, but also a publication with the best expert advice in the industry and the most attractive multimedia content online. "We make a magazine for brides and guests looking for current, cutting edge content." She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communications from the Complutense University and in Journalism from Carlos III University, both in Madrid. Her 10-year tenure in the fashion industry has allowed her to travel extensively and learning other languages and cultures.
Oscar's career has always been associated to the internet and weddings. Earlier in his career, he consulted with major companies in telecommunications and information security and in early 2000, he began as commercial director of various online companies such as Bodaclcik, Toprural, & Hotelsearch. He currently manages the overall business strategy of Zankyou worldwide.
Julieta is responsible for the Mexican market and is also the editor of Zk Magazine. She is originally from Guadalajara. She studied Corporate Communications and has an MBA in Marketing Management. Her professional experience is focused on Internet marketing, designing and implementing strategies focused in online content. She has been long involved in the world of weddings in Mexico. Her true passion is reading, writing and sharing with our customers the many trends in weddings.
Responsible for the French market, Aubeline is also the Director of Customer Service. She holds a degree in Engineering and Media Information/Communications. She worked as the Communications Officer for a French-Spanish company before joining Zankyou. Her overall goal is that you have the ultimate wedding experince with Zankyou.
Responsible for the Italian market, Simona, graduated with a Masters in online communication. She has extensive experience in media and publishing and before landing at Zankyou. She currently coordinates the media contact and manages all the public relations strategy.
Responsible for the Brazilian market, Paula moved to Madrid in 2009 to pursue her MBA, after earning her degree in Advertising and Marketing. She has vast experience in radio, Internet and event promotions. There is no one better than her on how to arrange the perfect vacation and every detail to turn out the perfect wedding.
Ana Laura is the Country Manager of Argentina and is responsible for the Latam edition of Zankyou. She is a professional event planner and has worked for years in both corporate, social and cultural events as well as public relations. She is a true lover of communication in all forms and began to take this path writing in blogs and magazines. She landed at Zankyou to fulfill her love with the wonderful world of weddings that thrives on happy moments, accompanying thousands of couples in this great journey.
Responsible for the Portuguese market and after receiving her degree in Hotel Management, Sofia has worked for more than 10 years in Human Resources, where she discovered her true calling and passion in the world of public relations. She handles the Zankyou's customer service and advertising.
Edyta is responsible for the Polish market. With experience in the field of Sociology and Marketing, she loves photography, traveling and the art of cooking. Her experience also includes volunteering in India, working for an NGO and Advertising. Also, part of her studies were conducted in Hungary. At Zankyou, Edyta loves to combine all her passions: photography, her people skills, marketing and beauty.
