The unique thing about our wedding is that Karl and I are doing a modern twist to the Vietnamese traditional wedding. We are having a traditional American ceremony but yet we will still incorporating a tea ceremony at our reception for guest to experience our Vietnamese tradition. What I first liked about Zankyou was the name. As a French woman living in the US, it is so much fun to hear and pronounce it. The website is nice and easy to use. Since we are going on a cruise to Alaska for our honeymoon, we included shore excursions and tours in our Zankyou list. Before going to the religious ceremony, it was so hot that I forget my pashmina for the church and half way there we had to turn around. I was about 15 minutes late for the ceremony and Vincent, who was waiting outside the church was starting to get a little worried... Our future projects? For now, we're looking for an apartment in Caen and after that, a honeymoon in the Maldives!

We haven't touched our wedding list yet. But we can't wait until we can start preparing our new apartment. On our wedding day we chose to leave the church in a hot air baloon and go to the reception. After landing in the field the car had to pick us up. We had to wait more than half an hour, lost in the field without a mobile phone - what a fright!
